The Liberty vacant lot needs a repair café workshop - Teresita's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Pasig are raising $550 for a repair café workshop at the Liberty vacant lot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $220, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 130 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
• Materials: $415

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. safety equipment and signage comes first ($50) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
