The Liberty health centre yard needs a skate park - Víctor's neighborhood project
A community-led a skate park at the Liberty health centre yard that will serve 407 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,000.
It will serve about 407 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Materials: $1,400
• Permits and inspections: $85
• Safety equipment and signage: $170
• Tools hire and delivery: $345
