The Liberty health centre yard needs a skate park - Soo-ah's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,200. It will serve about 406 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $2,200 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $420 • Permits and inspections: $145 • Materials: $1,635 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Soo-ah
