The Liberty community hall needs a skate park - Graciela's neighborhood project

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty community hall, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,150. It will serve about 543 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $1,150 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $105 • Materials: $970 • Safety equipment and signage: $75 Thank you for reading my story. - Graciela
