The Jacaranda health centre yard needs a skate park - Heloísa's neighborhood project

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 424 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $320 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $120 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 With deep gratitude, Heloísa
