The Jacaranda community hall needs a free library and reading room - Comfort's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $100 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $100.
It will serve about 318 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Permits and inspections: $35
