The Jacaranda community hall needs a community garden - Sana's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $250 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 411 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $250 goes:
• Materials: $125
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

So sorry you're going through this, Sana. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in.
Hope it all works out, Sana. More neighborhoods should do this. Thinking of Quetta.
