The Hosseini family fled Myanmar - help them rebuild in Lahore
After fleeing Myanmar, the Hosseini family has arrived in Lahore with little more than their documents. They need help with a deposit, furniture and the first months.

My family left Myanmar 13 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Lahore. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in December.
I was an engineer in Myanmar, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by a local church-run settlement group, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $350 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $75
• Rent deposit and first month: $200
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $15
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $60
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Rooting for you, Zoya. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 22 people at work. Take care!
Best of luck, Zoya. I hope things turn around soon. I hope December is when things finally get easier.
