The Harmony community hall needs a repair café workshop - Samuel's neighborhood project

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $950. It will serve about 195 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $950 goes: • Materials: $520 • Permits and inspections: $95 • Safety equipment and signage: $130 • Tools hire and delivery: $205 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
