The Harmony community hall needs a rainwater harvesting system - Liam's neighborhood project
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the Harmony community hall that will serve 238 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,800.
It will serve about 238 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Materials: $2,950
• Permits and inspections: $110
• Safety equipment and signage: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $480
