The Harmony community hall needs a playground - Iván's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Coyoacán are raising $600 for a playground at the Harmony community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 362 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $350
• Permits and inspections: $90
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

stay strong, Iván. Hope this works out for you
Take care, Iván. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Take care, Iván. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Chiang Mai donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Hang in there, Iván. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
More neighborhoods should do this. Sent it to 31 people at work. Greetings from Anaheim.
Hang in there. Great idea, hope you get there. Love from Kassel.
you're not alone, Iván. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless
good luck. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Zaporizhzhia but we're thinking of you.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Sydney donated after I showed her your page. Take care
