The Freedom health centre yard needs a repair café workshop - Rose's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Kasarani are raising $600 for a repair café workshop at the Freedom health centre yard.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 164 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $400
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
