The Freedom health centre yard needs a repair café workshop - Kimberly's neighborhood project
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Freedom health centre yard that will serve 257 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,300.
It will serve about 257 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Permits and inspections: $290
• Materials: $1,790

Sure. The biggest one is safety equipment and signage, $220. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Appreciate you taking the time.
