We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $3,050 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,050.
It will serve about 98 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Materials: $2,450
• Permits and inspections: $130
• Safety equipment and signage: $140
• Tools hire and delivery: $330
