The Freedom community hall needs a rainwater harvesting system - Haris's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Karachi are raising $150 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Freedom community hall.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $150.
It will serve about 201 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $150 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Materials: $105
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope things get better soon, Haris. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Ciudad de México so I could bring a meal. Blessings
