The Cedar vacant lot needs a community fridge - Leonardo's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Lecce are raising $2,300 for a community fridge at the Cedar vacant lot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,300.
It will serve about 556 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $165
• Tools hire and delivery: $225
