The Cedar health centre yard needs a community fridge - Elena's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Pasig are raising $600 for a community fridge at the Cedar health centre yard.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 533 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Permits and inspections: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
