The Cedar community hall needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Ketki's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Aurangabad are raising $550 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Cedar community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 403 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $370
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
