The Baobab health centre yard needs a repair café workshop - Naveed's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Islamabad are raising $150 for a repair café workshop at the Baobab health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $80, and the remaining cost is $150.
It will serve about 122 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $150 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
