The Baobab health centre yard needs a free library and reading room - Dennis's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $3,000 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,000.
It will serve about 219 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Materials: $2,100
• Permits and inspections: $260
• Safety equipment and signage: $440
• Tools hire and delivery: $200
