The Baobab community hall needs a playground - Junior's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Kingston are raising $950 for a playground at the Baobab community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 456 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $950 goes:
• Materials: $590
• Permits and inspections: $80
• Safety equipment and signage: $110
• Tools hire and delivery: $170
