The Baobab community hall needs a covered market stall space - Kendall's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,850 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,850.
It will serve about 133 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $570
• Materials: $1,000
• Permits and inspections: $280
