The Acacia community hall needs a community garden - Petro's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $600 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 520 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $420
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Petro.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. materials comes first ($420) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Great idea, hope you get there. I hope March is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Kyiv
Praying for you, Petro. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Kyiv.
