Thandi needs an adapted tricycle - help us make it happen
An adapted tricycle would give Thandi independence - we're $1,800 away.

Thandi lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Cape Town General Hospital has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,800.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Thandi could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,650
• Fitting and training sessions: $70
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $50
