Thanawat's colon cancer treatment fund

Thanawat was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at Phuket Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Thanawat is 57, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Phuket Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
