Tewodros's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Tewodros won a place at the Jimma Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Tewodros earned a place in Year 11 at the Jimma Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $55, which is more than they have.
Tewodros loves graphic design and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $55 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Tewodros?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about textbooks and workbooks, advice is welcome too. It helps to be asked.
Hope it all works out. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. All the best.
Shared this with my family. After 8 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
what exactly is the $55 for?
It's all in the list in the story. textbooks and workbooks is the big one at $35, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Wishing you the best, Habtamu. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Sending strength, Habtamu. Your post was clear and honest. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this, Habtamu. Hope this works out for you. All the best.
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Mumbai this morning.
