Adama
Tesfaye lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Adama Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $750. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Tesfaye could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $750 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $15 • prosthetic leg: $720 • Fitting and training sessions: $15 Glad we found this place.
