Teodoro needs a braille note-taker - help us make it happen
Teodoro needs a braille note-taker that the health system will not fund; the cost is $100.

Teodoro lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at San Fernando General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Teodoro could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $25
Thank you so much.

You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Bangkok.
Good luck, Kathleen. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of San Fernando.
