My landlord in Sydney has given me a withheld security deposit. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in New South Wales could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
