Temitope's colon cancer treatment fund
Temitope is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Temitope was diagnosed with colon cancer in June. The oncology team at Ikeja Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Temitope is 33, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ikeja Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,400
• Scans and lab work: $220
• Transport to Ikeja Cancer Centre: $125
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $50
• Household costs while unable to work: $155
