Teddy's severe tick fever: help with the vet bill
A senior cat named Teddy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $1,600 bill the family can't cover.

Teddy is my senior cat of two years. On 11 September we rushed to the Málaga Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $100 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Málaga Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $230
• Medication and follow-up visits: $75
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $245
