Teddy is my three-legged dog of six years. On 7 August we rushed to the Kano Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $100. They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $15 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Kano Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
