I'm caring for my father, who's 92. After the death of his spouse Tayo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tayo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Tayo worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

how is Tayo doing now?
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Wish I lived closer to Seoul so I could bring a meal.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Tayo.
Sure. The biggest one is medication and prescriptions, $60. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
