I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Yekaterinburg Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $270 • Final term tuition: $550 • Exam and lab fees: $50 • Textbooks and materials: $80 Thank you for reading my story.

Updates from Tatiana

  1. Quick update: $509 raised so far (54%). the plan for textbooks and materials is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($479 in total) I made the first payment toward final term tuition. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 14% now ($133). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the university and confirmed the amounts. - Tatiana

Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
