Tareq's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund
Tareq is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Tareq was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in November. The oncology team at Kota Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Tareq is 47, worked as a tailor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kota Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100
• Transport to Kota Cancer Centre: $150
• Household costs while unable to work: $250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $150
