Tareq was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September. The oncology team at Dhaka University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Tareq is 43, worked as a primary school teacher until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dhaka University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $400 goes: • Scans and lab work: $130 • Transport to Dhaka University Hospital: $100 • Household costs while unable to work: $170 Thank you for reading my story. - Hossain
