Tareq's non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
8 rounds of treatment are planned at the Sylhet Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Tareq was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at the Sylhet Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Tareq is 49, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Sylhet Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $900
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Transport to the Sylhet Oncology Institute: $45
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Household costs while unable to work: $300
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Take care. Looking forward to the next update. I hope November is when things finally get easier. God bless.
