Likoni
I earned a place in Form 4 at Likoni Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have. I love mathematics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $200 goes: • Laptop: $75 • School uniform and shoes: $45 • Textbooks and workbooks: $55 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 Thanks for reading all this.

Updates from Tabitha

  1. Update from Likoni: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 68% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 23% funded and the plan for calculator, stationery and a school bag is now scheduled. - Tabitha

  • Best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Likoni.

      • Sending strength, Tabitha. Gave what I could, wish it was more
