Sycamore Primary School needs a playground - Riaan's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at Sycamore Primary School that will serve 122 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 122 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Materials: $920
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
