Sycamore Primary School needs a community fridge - Daniel's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at Sycamore Primary School that will serve 558 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 558 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $300
• Permits and inspections: $85
• Tools hire and delivery: $115
