Sycamore Park needs a community fridge - Jin-woo's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Mapo are raising $1,650 for a community fridge at Sycamore Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,650.
It will serve about 108 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Materials: $1,300
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $120
