Swati was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at New Delhi Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Swati is 33, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to New Delhi Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to New Delhi Regional Medical Center: $180
• Scans and lab work: $230
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90
