Swapnil's palate reconstruction surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a hip fracture that never healed properly, Swapnil was cleared for palate reconstruction surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Swapnil was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in March. The surgeon at Udaipur Community Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $860, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $600 short.
my son has been in and out of Udaipur Community Hospital since March. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $860 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Swapnil struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Swapnil won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $600 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $50
• Physiotherapy sessions: $55
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $380
• Travel and lodging for the family: $40
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $75
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
