Sven's cataract surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Sven was cleared for cataract surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Sven was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in June. The surgeon at Malmö University Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,400, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $2,650 short.
my father has been in and out of Malmö University Hospital since June. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sven struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Sven won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
