Susana received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
The closure of the factory left Susana short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, Susana fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $2,800.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Susana has started working evenings as a cleaner, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Susana.
Sure. The biggest one is rent arrears (2 months), $2,100. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
