Surgery fund for Venkatesh: cataract surgery in Vadodara
Venkatesh needs cataract surgery at Saint Anne Hospital and the family is $1,000 short of the hospital's estimate.

Venkatesh was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in June. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since June. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Venkatesh struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Venkatesh won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
