Surgery fund for Varsha: valve repair surgery in Dwarka
After a benign brain tumor, Varsha was cleared for valve repair surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Varsha was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in November. The surgeon at Dwarka General Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $440, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $350 short.
my mother has been in and out of Dwarka General Hospital since November. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $440 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Varsha struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Varsha won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $350 goes:
• Physiotherapy sessions: $75
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $60
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $215
Thank you so much.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Varsha?
Thank you. If you're in Dwarka I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Hope it all works out, Sudhakar. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Kumasi so I could bring a meal. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Warri.
Sending strength, Sudhakar. Gave what I could, wish it was more.

Hang in there, Sudhakar. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
