Surgery fund for Umesh: a craniotomy in Kathmandu
A scheduled a craniotomy in November is out of reach without help covering $750 of the cost.

Umesh was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in July. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $750 short.
my father has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since July. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Umesh struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Umesh won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
