Surgery fund for Travis: hip replacement surgery in Kelowna
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in December is out of reach without help covering $3,450 of the cost.

Travis was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in October. The surgeon at Kelowna Regional Medical Center recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $3,450 short.
my son has been in and out of Kelowna Regional Medical Center since October. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Travis struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Travis won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
