Sylvie was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in July. The surgeon at Nice Orthopedic Institute recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,750, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $4,600 short.
my wife has been in and out of Nice Orthopedic Institute since July. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sylvie struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
